Eric Budish
University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, National Bureau of Economic Research
Eric Budish is a professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, known for his expertise in market design and the economics of financial markets. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard University. Budish's significant contribution includes his innovative approach to addressing inefficiencies in high-frequency trading. His notable work, “The High-Frequency Trading Arms Race: Frequent Batch Auctions as a Market Design Response,” advocates for switching from continuous trading to frequent batch auctions to enhance market efficiency and fairness. His research spans various aspects of economics, including the allocation of public goods and the design of assignment mechanisms.
ALEXANDER NEZLOBIN
Stealth DeFi protocol
Alexander Nezlobin is the founder of a stealth DeFi startup. Prior to this, he held faculty positions at the London School of Economics and the business schools of UC Berkeley and New York University. He published analytical and empirical research in top-tier accounting, finance and management journals. Alexander holds a PhD in Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
